Jens Vanbrabant

Jens Vanbrabant is a senior portfolio manager and head of European High Yield for the Plus Fixed Income team at Allspring Global Investments. He joined Allspring from its predecessor firm, Wells Fargo Asset Management (WFAM). Jens served as a portfolio manager responsible for the team’s corporate investment-grade and high-yield credit risk before becoming a lead portfolio manager of WFAM Credit Europe’s multi-asset credit portfolios, which included significant allocations to loans and high yield.

Jens was previously at J.P. Morgan, where he was a credit research analyst responsible for the firm’s industrials loan exposure in the Credit Portfolio Group. He began his investment industry career in 1999. Jens earned a master’s of laws degree from King's College London and a law degree from University of Leuven in Belgium. He has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) designation and is a member of CFA Society U.K.
