Ralph Büchel

Ralph Büchel, Partner Private Equity, is Global Head of Secondaries, and Co-Head of the Emerging Manager programme. He joined Unigestion in 2011 covering the DACH and UK regions. In 2018, he was appointed as Head of Emerging Managers, responsible for Unigestion's global Emerging Manager strategy. In 2021, he become Partner Private Equity, with an increase focus on secondary investments across Europe. He was appointed to his current position in 2022.

Ralph began his career at Sungard Bancware in Winterthur, Switzerland. He then moved to UBS Investment Banking, and subsequently Obermatt & Partners. Prior to joining Unigestion, Ralph worked in Mergers & Acquisitions at Capital Concepts International on several sell and buy side corporate finance advisory mandates.

Ralph holds a Master’s Degree in Banking and Finance from the University of St Gallen, Switzerland and is a CFA Charterholder.
